About Me
Hi, I’m Dana - Welcome!
I’m a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who provides individual psychotherapy to adults* 18+, particularly focused on women and/or the LGBTQ+ community. Whether you’re looking to find meaning in your life, treat obsessive thoughts and feelings, or uncover insights about your past and present, I provide support and guidance along your journey.
Many of my clients and colleagues have described my style as comforting, encouraging, expressive, intuitive, and direct. I like to challenge clients while also using humor and a strengths-based focus to provide empowerment and clarity.
During our time together, I prefer to tailor my therapeutic style to fit your needs. I may use a variety of modalities during sessions, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.

I believe strongly in using evidence-based approaches and will always gauge your comfort level before using exposure-based therapies. Consent is crucial to the work I do and I believe strongly in moving at the speed that is right for you.
Outside of sessions, I enjoy helping out on my small farm, reading in my hammock, hiking, and spending time with my loved ones, including my two spirited cats.
If you think we might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out and inquire about a consultation!
*I also hold a few spots in my schedule for adolescents - please reach out if you are interested in whether I currently have availability for teens.
