Our Services
I specialize in various areas such as OCD, body dysmorphic disorder, mood disorders, life transitions, queer identity, women's issues, and anxiety disorders. My goal is to empower clients with the tools they need to live happier and healthier lives.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment
OCD is not just a quirky habit of organizing or cleaning your home meticulously. It’s a debilitating disorder marked by repetitive intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and rituals (compulsions). By the time you have noticed this pattern, you are likely exhausted and frustrated by these thoughts and responses. The good news is that there is a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment available called exposure and response prevention (ERP). ERP involves the use of gradual exposures to obsessions or fears, as well as the gentle prevention of compulsions.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
If you find yourself obsessing over parts of your appearance, checking mirrors often (or avoiding them), covering yourself up with baggy clothing that you wish you didn’t feel the need to wear, and ducking out of pictures with friends, there is hope. While BDD can be a deeply distressing disorder, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the use of both exposure and response prevention (ERP) as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) can all form the basis of treatment.

Talk Therapy & Lifestyle Changes
If you have arrived here due to life transitions, questions about identity, anxiety, depression, or interpersonal issues, I am happy to provide a warm, affirming approach. During talk therapy, I let you determine your own goals and priorities for sessions. I typically use psychodynamic therapy (exploration of the past and how it relates to the present) as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I am also acutely aware of the systems that we live under and the additional stress that this can entail, particularly in a turbulent world. I am here to hold space for the ways that we as humans encounter our society, our relationships, and of course, ourselves.
