FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What sort of populations and issues do you see in your practice?
While I work with a wide variety of populations, I specialize in adults, especially women and/or members of the LGBTQ+ community. I treat anything from life transitions, identity changes, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma.

Which approaches do you take in therapy?
I am first and foremost a person-centered therapist. You can expect that I will use an eclectic approach in therapy, blending cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and SMART recovery for those who are in recovery from substance use disorders. I typically cater my approach to your specific challenges and what you are most responsive to.

Which insurances do you accept?
I accept Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare/United Health Shared Services, as well as certain insurances that fall under their umbrella. Check my Contact page for a link to my Psychology Today profile, which has a full list of insurances accepted.

What is your new client procedure?
After determining whether we are a good therapeutic fit, I will send over forms directly to your email to fill out. Additional forms such as ROIs will be signed off on in person.
